Larry riding John is Gone

We both were born and raised in South Dakota. At my parents' place I helped breed, raise, train, and show ponies and horses.

We purchased land here in 1977, adding more in 2000. In 1994 we decided to get into the breeding business with an AQHA stud named Pine Sorrel. After siring fifty-plus foals, he died unexpectedly in January of 2003.

In February of 2003, after looking at numerous studs and their genetics, we decided that John Is Gone would be the one to breed to our Poco Bueno, Joe Reed II, Skipper W, Sonny Dee Bar, Storybook Hero (grandson of Go Man Go), Zippo Pat Bars, Two Eyed Dondi, Zippo Pine Bar, Clabber Bar, Sonnys Royalty, and Pine Sorrel bred mares.

John Is Gone has earned $1395. in the NCHA plus numerous other prizes. He has a son standing at stud in Montana and being shown in cutting and barrel racing. He also has a daughter to be shown in cutting this summer plus others doing ranch work.

We thank BeverlyHall for giving us the opportunity to own such a horse that would give us babies with the quality we demand so people can enjoy them through the next generation; riding them in any direction they choose to take.
