John Is Gone, true son of Bob Acre Doc

John was born at the Wilson Ranch in Pattison, Texas, on April 08,1993. He was purchased by Beverly Hall of Billings, Montana, on September 17, 1994, and then purchased by us, Larry and Susan Wagner, on February 22, 2003.

Comments from Beverly Hall, Former Owner

I bought John directly from Sam Wilson as a yearling. He was trained by Tom Campbell until Tom moved to Texas and then by Bill Murphy and John L. Dublin. In addition to showing him locally, I used him out in the hills to move ranch cows, a job at which he is absolutely superb. He isn't afraid of anything, whether it is snotty cows or bears on the trail. I am riding one of his sons on the ranch, and he is a super cow pony. I have one palomino daughter in training with John L. Dublin, who says she is really going to be good. We will start showing her this summer. I also have two 3-year olds that I will be riding this summer. Two of my neighbors are riding geldings by John, and they just can't say enough good things about them. I think you can pretty well guarantee that his colts will have good minds and good cow sense.
